Stretch marks, also known as striae, are a form of scarring on the skin with an off color. Stretch marks appear when the skin losses its elasticity either from pregnancy, obesity or any condition in which the body is conditioned to stretched beyond it’s limit. Over time they may diminish, but will not disappear completely. Stretch marks appears usually on the belly, but also commonly on the breasts, thighs, hips, lower back and buttocks.
It is necessary to know that there is no evidence that creams or any artificial product for that matter can prevent or cure stretch marks.
